High School Scholarships

High School Scholarships

Annually, USPASSS grants scholarships through our competition to find the best students and give them an opportunity to excel.

Each eligible student may apply for any of these scholarships for the current year: (1) High School Scholarships, (2) High School Prep Scholarships, (3) College Prep Scholarships. However, the student must submit a separate entry, with a different essay, for each scholarship that they wish to apply for.

The Distinguished Scholar Award is only eligible to students who are nominated by a teacher or a civic leader and can be entered in place of the High School Scholarship noted above, but does not affect the eligibility for any other scholarship.

So long as the student continues to meet the eligibility requirements, they may apply for any or all of the scholarships available in subsequent years. The administrative fees paid for one year are only applicable to that competition and will not cover entries in subsequent years.

The High School Scholarship is specifically for those Vietnamese students who are, will be or want to attend at least one (1) academic year in a US High School (grades 9-12).

To be eligible for this Scholarship, you must:

    • Be a Vietnamese citizen
    • Be between 14-18 years of age
    • Be enrolled full time at a middle or high school in Vietnam
    • Have a minimum cumulative GPA over the last 3 years, equivalent to an 85% average
    • Show your active Civic Engagement, or your plans for future engagement
    • Submit your entry for the USPASSS High School Scholarship

Finalists will receive a 50% total discount on our consultancy fee for High School Programs while recipients of the scholarship will receive a 70% total discount on our consultancy fee for High School Programs, for the school year defined in the competition Terms and Conditions.
